Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design
Returning for the third time, this art exhibition organised by Artura Insanindo will this year be running under a GEN i Us theme. Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design (ICAD) will present a range of works that combine art and design with fine art, technology and entertainment, and there will also be workshops and art competitions to enjoy. You’ll find this one down at the grandkemang Hotel.

Surabaya, East Java

Cultural and Flower Parade
Surabaya has now been added to the list of Indonesian cities that can boast their own flower festivals. Created in order to open the celebrations surrounding the 719th anniversary of the establishment of the City of Heroes, the Cultural and Flower Parade will feature a procession of vehicles decorated with flowers and enlivened by various artistic and educational attractions.

Made in Indonesia Expo & Conference
A variety of Indonesian products will be on display at this event, which is set to be attended by several institutions from both the government and private sectors. The Made in Indonesia Expo & Conference will exhibit innovative and creative works by Indonesians that are more than able to compete in the international arena.

May 24-27 | Magelang, Central Java
Borobudur International Hash House Harriers

Around 5,000 people from 45 countries will be participating in this international cross-country running championship. The four categories for competitors are: Short (4-6km), Medium (6-8km), Long (8-12km), and Super Long (12-25km). The International Hash House Harriers is a biennial event that has been held at different venues since 1978.


LAGs (Liquid, Aerosols and Gels)

In accordance with standard aviation security rules, cabin baggage items carried on board in liquid form such as aerosol, gel, perfume, hairspray, deodorant, toothpaste and others are strictly limited. The amount of each item must not exceed 100 milliliters and the total amount of all mentioned items must not be more than 1 liter. Such items must also be safely wrapped in a transparent plastic container/bag.

The rule is effectively applicable since 31st March 2007 on all international routes, to and from any country.
